Happy Friday, y'all! I haven't done much this week...a lot of resting and recouping. So I'm glad that this week is coming to an end. I get my stitches out Monday, and it cannot come quick enough. I've got a case of cabin fever for sure! But I'm really grateful that Adam has stayed with me and has taken such good care of me :) Some good news before getting into High Five for Friday...both mine & Adam's applications for renting that house were approved! Now it's just up to the realty company :) Fingers crossed!
Now here are 5 highlights from my week:
one. Picked up some super cute shorts from Target. Happy first day of summer :) Even though it's felt like summer for 2 months now...
two. Got a new workout DVD in the mail! Can't wait til I can get back to really working out again. I've been walking three miles everyday and doing some leg/butt exercises that aren't too strenuous. When I see my doctor Monday I'm gonna ask him when I can get back to doing HIIT workouts and lifting weights.
three. I could eat sushi everyday and not complain. DELISH. Side note: Adam & I were talking about what our last meal ever would be if we had to choose...mine was ribs slathered in BBQ sauce with mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. Talk about eating clean ;)
four. I'm still not comfortable enough to go out in public (I can't wear a bra yet, ha) so one night this week, Adam took me to watch the sun go down at Davis Island. We sat in the car and watched planes, boats, & birds. It was fun...I'm really starting to appreciate the little moments :)
five. I love having breakfast/quiet time with Adam out on the patio before he goes to work...makes my whole day better!
