Before I Kick the Bucket

Hello lovelies :) Happy Memorial Day!
I hope you have wonderful things planned to celebrate!

Last week's Smell the Roses task was to make a bucket list.

The reasoning behind this is so that we don't lose sight of smaller goals that we have for our lives. I know that it can be easy to get caught up in the ever growing list of daily to-dos, but I think it's super important to keep your goals at the front of your mind and do whatever you can to achieve them :)

Your life will not be fulfilled by completing mundane tasks day in & day out, so make time to go after your dreams & passions!

So there you have it, the start of my bucket list! I think it would be a cool idea to frame this and keep it somewhere where I see it every day. That way my goals & dreams are brought to my attention constantly!

I saw a picture on Instagram that Lindsay posted a few days ago. She tagged me in the picture and said "This one is for you, @lovelyjesscuh!" I absolutely LOVE it! And I love her, obviously :)

I decided to go ahead and keep the link up going since I got a few emails asking me to :) So if you made a bucket list grab a button and link up!

Next week's task:
Show appreciation for your job.

Lately I've had a lot of you asking me about my job. Well that made me realize that I don't show very much appreciation for the job that I have, which is awful since so many people are struggling to find a job right now. So this week I want us all to show appreciation for our jobs! You can do whatever you want...write your boss a thank you letter, bring breakfast for a fellow co-worker, etc.

In regards to your bucket lists, I leave you with this...

  1. Love the bucket list! Can't wait to hear more about this week's task!

  2. love the bucket list!! It's one of my dreams to write a book as well :) I've actually already started it.. When yours gets published one day I can't wait to read it and brag that your my friend! Happy Memorial Day to you, lovely! Have a wonderful day :)

  3. love your list!! come visit me and you can go to a drive in - there is one so close to us!!

  4. That looks like a great bucket list to me! Perhaps I should make one of my own now...

  5. I love this! I've been meaning to make a bucket list but never have gotten around to it! I want to go to Greece, too!

  6. great start to what I think is going to be a longggg bucket list friend!! Love the sleeping in a hammock!! If only we can wake up on the beach in a hammock listening to the waves crashing and birds chirping every day of our life, right?!

Knowing how ambitous you are, I know you'll get through this list with flying colors!!

    Happy Memorial day my friend!

  7. What a wonderful idea for a post! I really love your list and there are at least 3 on there that I want to get done by the end of this year! :)

  8. If you try to go through life day to day, you will eventually wake up and five years has passed and you have no idea where the time went. I especially enjoy your last goal. I think that's an important one for all of us.

  9. I love you so much! I'm glad you loved the postcard photo!

  10. I LOE THIS! Matt and I have been making our own "bucket lists" recently...only we have specific lists for specific things like "shows to see" or places to travel" that kind of thing. P.S. I think I can help out with that whole drive-in thing!.....yet another double date idea! :)

  11. Awesome list girl!! What kind of business do you want to start?

I never thought of simpler things like sleeping in a hammock or going to a drive-in. I've never done either of those :)

    Have an awesome week!
